Human Base: Naked!

Yeah.. I was feeling a little rushed at the time(lil sloppy) but here it is. Hero 1 base... Naked.

Stayed up until 6am figuring out coding. Didn't learned anything because I was too busy freaking out about not having Flash Develop for my Mac to continue the tutorial. Once again Mac, I hate you.

  1. Why do you have a mac? ;)

I'll add instructions for eclipse with the flash builder plugin too, so that mac and Linux users can go through without a problem (plus it's also free)!

Hope you're doing better with it- programming is like anything else- hard to learn at first, but after practicing a lot, it gets easier and more fun :D

  2. I'm an art student, it's almost an expectation to get one unfortunately. And I'm told its better to know how to use more than one platform. AND! It still has that new shine.

Never used eclipse but since it's free and can be used on macs, fabulous! I hope learn faster than the speed I'm currently going, heh.

  3. Yeah, I've never "gotten" macs- people that have them are fanatics, but no real reasons why :P Always used PC's, and a "hardware hacker" - where I like upgrading parts, overclocking, have options for stuff.

Whereas macs are more to buy and use- if you didn't like something, or something got outdated, you have to buy a whole new one :-o

But almost everyone I know who uses a mac has windows installed on it- so they can use programs they actually use ;)

There are also some good books on game programming- Flash Game programming University is a good, popular beginner one! I hope to get the blog up to as many examples, and much more :D

Just trying to help other people get started- takes some research to get everything working-

  4. I'm ordering it on kindle and it should arrive in 2 days :p.

I probably won't get to read much of it much this week since my final projects are due.

  5. You know you can install the kindle reader for pc/android/mac, ect and can view the kindle books as soon as you buy them:
    http://www.amazon.com/gp/feature.html/ref=kcp_mac_mkt_lnd?docId=1000464931

Whenever I'm excited by a book and need it ASAP I just do that to get it instantly :D

Good luck with your final projects- so glad to be done with school!
